Freddy Zamora Jr. Foundation
We consider our youth's education is the key to our bright future, and it's also the right of every child to get an education. Therefore, our company has chosen Freddy Zamora Jr Foundation to give our charitable donations. We are highly concerned about the health and education of our young generation, who are building blocks of our future.
Freddy Zamora Jr Foundation focuses on helping those young students who are battling cancer. It helps them bring a light of hope to their lives. We give motivation and ambition by arranging scholarship programs and fundraising events for young people living with cancer to help them advance their education, which they otherwise may not be able to pursue.
Cancer takes away millions of young lives every year, and Freddy Zamora Jr also lost this battle. This aspiring young student was doing graduating from Akins High School, Austin, TX, when he was diagnosed with stage four Squamous Cell Carcinoma. He was a high spirited young boy who was an athlete and a peer coach at his school. He believed that we should become what we want to become, not what others want us to be.
The Freddy Juniors story is similar to those of millions of young pupils who want to pursue their dreams and build a better future for themselves and others around them. But life does not give them a chance. We are committed to helping those unfortunate souls get the education they may not continue due to their disease and resulting financial crisis.
This small effort of our company may help them feel accomplished and contribute in a better way to society till they are fighting and combatting their cancer.

We are proud and lift up the men and women of the Sheriff’s Department for the self-less sacrifices they take day in and day out to keep our county safe.

Yet, many of the longtime traditions of the office are still prevalent and The Sheriff is still looked upon by the local citizenry as their personal law enforcement representative."
